Lemon-herb air fryer cauliflower
Browned edges, tender stems, and a squeeze of lemon right at the end.
Print recipe
Let's make it.
- Cut the cauliflower into florets of a similar size so they finish together. Make sure they are dry.
- Toss with the olive oil, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
- Arrange one batch in a single layer. Crowded florets steam instead of browning, so cook in batches.
- Cook 8 to 10 minutes per batch, stirring halfway, until tender with browned edges.
- Toss the hot cauliflower with lemon zest, a squeeze of juice and the herbs. Taste for salt.
The little thing that matters
Leave the lemon juice until the end. Acid in the basket makes the surface wet just when you want it to brown.
For meat and seafood, use a food thermometer and the current safe minimum temperature chart to verify doneness. Never pour oil into the air fryer basket; a light coat on the food is enough.
